Just a quick question

Hey,

Might seem like a silly question, but I've got my first full day off work on Thursday where the mrs is at work and the little one is at his grans. I'm going to use the day to totally go through my car (1.0 12v corsa B - Flame Red) I'm going to start with cleaning, inside and out... Tecut, wax, polish - the works. I then want to have a look at my engine. My question is, is there Any basic maintenance I can do that will make my car run better.. Or anything along those lines without spending anything??(I'm not a tight a**e, just a very tight month!!) I'm talking easy go get to valves and sensors That can be cleaned etc. Sorry for the silly question but was just wondering!
