Hey All My Egrs Playing Up Keeps Sticking And Causing A Really Unsmooth Ride Took It Off And Cleaned It The Other Day Worked Okish For a While But Then ZOnkered Again , So I Bought A Blanking Plate From Ebay As I Couldnt B Arsed Making One ... Thing Is I Have The 1.0 12v X10XE And Looking On The Internet Its Saying Something About A Waterway ? Would I Be Able To Just Slip The Blanking Plate In Or Have I Failed And Its New Egr Time ?

If you have brought the blanking plate that is the same shape as the EGR same as this

Then it should just sit between the EGR and the block. The hole in it is for the water way. If its not this one you have got, Youve got the wrong one!!
