Door trim

Post by Lukey1991 »

I am thinking about removing the door trim on my corsa, but i'm not sure about what i will find inderneith, i have seen this done before and has came out looking awful with left over clue or holes where its been attatched, but i have also seen it been done and look absolutly fine. I'm wondering how do you know what its going to be like and whats the best way to do it?
Thank you once again for everyones time :)

nah they're piece of piss to remove, row of screws removes the door pocket, then screwdrive and flick the cover of the door handle and tweeter, the mirror trim just slides up the door pillar and comes off, then there's about two or three screws around the door itself to hold the trim on, and thats it, its just really... simple  what you want to get behind it for? got something planned? :D

you want to take off the doorcard inside the door or the plastic bumpstrips on the outside of the door? if you mean the outside door trimthey stuck on with glue and come off ok, just T-cut the glue thats left on the door to get rid of it ;)

ohhhhh well in that case they just pull off, but leave double sided tape remains on the door pannel, which can be removed with white spirit and rubbing like hell
