Corsa-B.uk - Vauxhall, Opel and Holden Corsa B Owners Club

Picked up my son his first car at the weekend, something cheap and simple and not too powerfull, N plate 95 Corsa Merit 1.2

Thought I would give it a home service, ordered up a new distributor cap and rotor arm from the 'bay, however, what arrived wasnt what I was expecting

The current distributor is made by bosch and is held in place by two spring clamps, however, what arrived is miles bigger and fixes with screws, rotor arm is far too big for the existing cap

The seller is claiming the part is for a 1.2 Corsa B 93-97

My question is :- were there differing types of distributors for the 1.2 engine in a Corsa B ?

Finally any suggestions for cheaply priced Corsa B service parts ?

Not too sure about the cap.. Should be universal, surely? But cheap service parts look on eurocarparts (google it). Never actually use it but have looked through it and the basic service parts are very cheap compared to motor spares and first cheap compared to Halfords! Free UK delivery too so should be good!
