does anybody no if i can just swap my ecu for another the same?
my car is a 1997 1.4 16v gls auto with electric windows and heated wing mirrors
any help would be nice

in a manual car it would be ok but you'd have to change the chip in your key aswell. but in an automatic theirs another brain down inside the car oposite the standard ecu for the automatic side of things, im not sure if this has anything to do with the normal ecu such as coding etc so i dont know mate sorry but in a manual car you'd have to change the key chip for certain.
