I just fancy a change something i can throw around without worring about exspensive repair bills,so my question is what do i have to look out for i mean common faults etc. as this is my first vauxhall i dnt know much about them thanks andy.

be a big change coming from s2000 to a corsa mate. why you selling it? if you were wanting fun, get a civic ej9/ek9/ek3 or similar with a k20 civic type r engine in it
the ej9 1.4 non vtec are serious fun to drive. once i can get insurance im getting a ej9. the ej9 is 1.4 non vtec facelift model, ek9 is civic type r the old shape style, ek3 is 1.5 non vtec pre facelift.

true it does sound abit mad but i just fancy a little hot hatch to throw around iv had civic type r's teggy type r's even a ek9,its just sumthing differant the S2K is great fun but there are a few common problems with them early uk models the oil pumps failed and honda did not warranty for some reason,if the engine blows up it will prob write the car off they use oil with the v-tec and exspencive to repair in fact iv put a new clutch in mine 2 weeks ago the clutch kit stage 2 fast road(standard ones are crap) cost £750 del from the usa as the price for one over here was well over a £1000,
so any advise on the c20xe or let engines things to look out for etc.....

how much mechanical knowledge you got? you can buy a cheap corsa b then redtop it or let it. pricer on here is selling everything that you need to do a conversion for 500 except the shafts but there easy to pick up.
