Hi, For some time I have known that the CV joints in my car would need replacing but have never really found it to be quite as serious. I first started noticing it when I would be parking the car and the steering wheel would be turned completely to the left or right and it would make a knocking noise.
However I think it has become worse than this now as when the car is moving slowly round corners it may occasionally make a knocking noise. Is this the sign that I will definitely need to replace it as soon as possible? As I do not have the money to do it at this moment in time. The car currently has 120640 Miles on the clock and I know that you are usually supposed to replace the CV joints around this amount of mileage.
I know a site in which I can order the CV joints for a reasonable price but I do not have the skills to replace them myself. Kinda wish I had taken a Mechanics course at college.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: CV Joints Need Replacing?
I've decided to replace the CV joint and Boot. Hopefully it will stop the knocking noise coming from my car when going round corner.
