Hey i've just got this remote central locking kit throught the post and have no idea how to wire it up or anything ive got a 1999 if this helps already has central locking...?

Hey pal.. Don't want to be the bearer of bad news... But I bought one of these for my 98 corsa... Attempted to fit it.. Followed instructions and my dad works with electrics too... It worked.. Twice.. Then we got smoke from the control box... Car locked it's self an wouldn't even unlock with the key...(It was wired 110% correctly, though.! It seriously was a nightmare.. Only go ahead with it if your absolutely certain you know how because it caused me some big problems and I just ended up reverting back to key central locking.. As gutting as that was. Not saying you'll have the same issues but just wanted to warn you first! It might have just been the fact that I bought a cheap £25 kit! - Rip-off!!

Ouch,,, looks well complicated on the instructions and everything and all... i'll give it a shot and see what happens anyhow but thanks alot anyways
