Hi,

I was driving the other week and the engine management light came on at a set of traffic lights - stationary and then very shortly after the engine went off so had to get out and push to side of the road etc.. I tried switching on the engine straight after but nothing. I left it about 3 minutes before starting the engine again and it worked there was no problem after that at all.

Then today, I was about to go on a roundabout, I would say I was doing around 25mph and then the engine light came on and cut the engine out, luckily I got to a safe place to stop. I tried to start the engine again but it kept making as if the engine was about to start but didnt. I then tried to start the engine with my foot on the accelerator and then engine started straight away and no more problems since.

Anything anyone can think it might be or any help at all would be appreciated.

Air mass sensor,i had that with my 1.0l 12v,it'll cost you around £40 i think

If not it'll be Lamda sensor and that'll cost you around £15
