Erratic Running

Hi,
Ref:- yr2000, X-reg, 1.2, X12XE
Have an erratic running engine, rev the engine gently at about 1400rpm it starts to 'hunt', revs build up & down over about 150rpm (like small throttle blips) keep pressing the throttle slowly down the engine doesn't build up revs but the 'hunting' is over a slightly wider rev range, then suddenly it revs hard & have to release throttle pedal.
If driving 'gently' when it gets to this 1400rpm it starts to judder badly. You can accelerate through it if you put your foot down, once above this rev range the throttle appears to act like an on/off switch.
Retrieved these codes from the ecu -
Cleared the codes and tried disconnecting the MAF but made no difference.
Have stripped and cleaned the ICV as per the guide on here - it appears to be working OK.
So b4 I go out and spend on a new MAF can anyone confirm if that is causing the symptoms?
Also where to buy such item? Don't fancy buying from scrap yard - don't know what your getting, or from a rip off Vauxhall.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Nigel
