ok just found this stuff reviewed on a site and it sounds the bee's knee's!

tried allsorts to get my bumpers black and stay that way

back2black (diffrent brands) washed off after 1 week of rain or a wash
(autoglym bumper gel) came off second wash
Sprayed with bumper spray and primer beforehand + lacquered( 1 week tops!)

pretty much tried it all apart from the old heatgun method....i dont trust myself to be honest

im going to give my bumpers a good clean and scrub, degrease them and give this stuff from the USA a try

it claims to be a dye that PERMANENTLY dyes bumper trims blackseen it applied to other corsa b's with the same problem and looked great!

readily available on ebay uk....bit pricey but if it works im all for it. At my wits end with it!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Forever-Black-Dye ... 20b9e8b82c

will buy and try and let you know what i think

There was a bottle of that in my car when I got it, it dosn't look like its been done for a while but you can see lines where they have apply it.

its looks like that Instant Leather Shoe Polish its even in the same sort of bottle.

I'd say the bottle is filled with Tyre black by the look of it.

Save your money and put it towards painting your bumpers,

hmmm....yea it does look that way from that pic

various reviews say its really special though for some reason. they would say that for a sale though! :(

im going to give it a whirl as a last chance attempt....if not....bodyshop here i come!

you may be right, having them done professionally may be the solution here
il have to get some quotes for spraying and also see if i can get them wrapped....know a guy who can do a whole car for less than 500
cheaper than a new respray i would have thought. carbon fibre effect also! hhhmmmm........photoshop going on today methinks!

Well first impressions are really good of this product!

degreaser solution worked wonders at removing all the crap from the bumpers
the actual applicator itself is so easy to use and apply streak free...even in direct sunlight

its given the car a deep black shine after 2 good coats drying for about 10 mins inbetween

had a good t-cut up after both coats and it really looks like new now!

I really hope it stays like that as is promised on the bottle!

heres the latest pic....really doesnt do it any justice though! looks better up close and personal

Really wish i could go....theres still a lot to do on the car tbh. i would feel a bit out of place with all the fine examples of corsa's going down this year

Just thought id add this in as its been mentioned,i have used the heat gun method and works a treat literally changes back to black in seconds just start on a low heat about 4-6 inches away from the car cant complain for a pretty much free method.
