Okay so this is my first car a, 1.0 in Atlantis Blue
I thought hmm, i can do alot to this, i got it with 61k miles on it its V reg (99) all for £600
Here is the day i got it:
Yes, it was completely standard!
First thing i done was give it a good clean and de-badge!
I managed to pick up front and rear bumpers from the scrap yard for £40 so they are now colour coded
Mate let me use some if his red caliper paint
My speedo lights were really dull so i thought id change them, since i was going to change them i thought id go blue
Got myself the halfords edge 900w sub with a sony headunit, also sprayed a part of my air con control blue:
Managed to pick myself up some angel eye headlights for £40:
My springs came! ebay £50, 60mm all around, put them on and took the side door black trim off with a caramel wheel, still alot of t-cutting to do! also i Stickerbomb'd my splitter, back of interior mirror, above glove box and my petrol cover:
Springs
After using the caramel wheel
Splitter
Glove box
Petrol cap
(Loads of magic trees lol)
After ages and ages i finally found some Cav Slabs!! got them for £150 with tyres, i originally wanted them in white but these were refurbished in anthrocite, they have just a few scuff marks but im not too fussed, i also painted my bolts in blue so its more color coordinated:
This is my OLD manifold witht he big crack in, picked up my new one from a scrapyard for £20:
This is how my car is at the moment, i am going to fit my angel eyes in when my hids get here then i can do them together, also im waiting for some opel mudflaps and an opel boot badge. and i took the stickerbomb off my petrol cap cause i stood out too much lol i painted my current boot badge just until my opel comes
Was a pretty dull when i took the pictures but ill take some better ones when its done
Ive not done anything performance wise... thinking of an engine conversion for a redtop ive priced it up but im still thinking about it.
