where is the temperature sensor on a 1.0l 12v 1999 corsa

do you mean engine temp or outside temp sensor? the engine temp sensor is on top of the water pump housing, temp sensor for multi display near the clock\date is in middle of front bumper behind numberplate accesible from behind front grill

Coolant temp sensor is on top of EGR valve (single black wire behind oil filter) and the sensor is screwed into the EGR valve.

coolant temp sensor is on water pump as it reads the temperature of the water, egr valve has exhaust gasses running throught it so would not have water in it for the sensor to read ;)

coolant temp sensor for ecu is on left hand side of head i think its under a piece of black trim,the coolant temp sensor for clocks is on the egr valve.

EGR valve has coolant running through it....
