Hi Guys,

I dont own a corsa at the mo, im running around in some Jap metal. But im thinking of getting something a lil cheaper on the pocket. I have been looking at the Corsa sports 1.6 16v. Im a big vauxhall fan anyway so it just makes sense. I was wondering if people can shed some light on the major differences between the 1.4 and the 1.6 sport. Other than the 15hp difference ( i think) . Is the 1.4 16v as tunable and playable as the 1.6?

most mods ive seen (like custom inlets etc) and 4 both the engines and roughly give the same % power gains. therefore as the 1.6 has more power 2 start with mods will make more of a difference 2 it. tbh tho if u wana get something that is as fast as a tuned 1.6 u might as well get a c20xe conversion as the power of that untuned can match a tuned 1.6

but yea more to answer your question no there are no major differences between the 1.4 and 1.6 sports apart from the hp difference. and yes they both are easily tunable as each other. they are both practically the same engine bar ones bit bigger than the other.
