Hello again,
Im considering logging this as a project log but first i want know if anyone can give me or tell me a qucik tutorial on how to fit a body kit to car,
when i google it it tells me to lay kit over the original which for some reason i dont feel is right.
I will be replacing my standard exhast pipe and back box over weekend but want to start on my body before wheels come so i have enough time to decide on my options of wheel size.
I would rather do this all myself as local garage wants to charge £1000 to fit all bodykit and spray the whole car black but be without it for 2 weeks.
Thanks

depends on the kit dude, some can go over standard parts, some cant, most of them should have holes just like the standard parts so should be simple for you to bolt straight onto the car, but in most cases , since they are aftermarket flibreglass panels, they are never gnna be spot on, so you will need to do some alterations and modifications to your bodykits in order to get them to fit spoton. it wont be a five minute job so expect to have your car off the road for a while as you mess about with the kit.
some kits such as arches, require using sealer or fibreglassing onto the car, and some may just need to go over standard arches,

I do have another car to drive about in while im doing this,
i did notice that none of the kit has any holes on it and especially the front bumper, wide bumper just meets under the bonnet stock bumper goes right under and is bolted on.
here is some pics of the kit if this will help explain what needs done
Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Skirts
Rear Arches
Front Arches
Extras
On the Pictures headed Extras i know what the long pieces are but still cant figure out the curved piecesif anyone knows would be awesome to share that knowledge.
Thanks Again

few ways you can do it, with the kit like that i would recommend fibreglassing and sealing onto your car, OR
you could drill holes into the kit, self tapp screw it into the car and fill over the the holes after wards, so its hidng the screws, ( hope that makes sense :/)
on the back bumper, you can drill holes the same style as your original bumper, simply put the bumper in place and drill in the areas where it mets the clips on the car.
frontbumper, ideally you want to make a bracket for the sides of the bumper, theres already a hole in the wing so you can make a plate/bracket, to fit inside the side of bumper, and fit a bolt onto it, then when you put the bumper on the car you can fasten the sides up with a nut onto the bolts,( i hope this makes sense! im trying haha)

weld some plates onto the crossmember, and bolt them to the bottom of your bumper, to keep it steady and strong.

please check my project log out for ideas mate, for the sides of bumpers, i have drilled and flushed holes, then used rivets to hold brackets on, then filled over the rivets to flush the bumper smooth. for my back bumper i fibreglassed bolts into the sides, and drilled holes at top of bumper where it meets the clips on car,
for the side skirts, i used a right angle plate, welded to the sills of my car, so my skirts sit on top of them, and then rivited the skirts to the plate at the top,
also added 3 small plates, to go under the skirt and bolted to the bottom of the sills, to hold the skirt steady and strong.
