nah that wont fail dude, its fine, you want to check out connor carr on here, he's got a corsa thats had to have a fair bit of welding, now thats proper rot not surface rust like yours,
this is suposed to be the one rear top spring mount, iv never seen a corsa rot here, well surface rust yea but nothing like this photo of connor carr's car.

only places you want to check is the front chassis members and the bit just before the rear beam mounting points, this is where corsa's usually rot out. and check your hand brake cables aernt freyed where they glide through that plastic slieve bit on the rear beam as if they are thats another fail, also check your rubber brake pipes if they're cracked when they're bent thats also another fail, or atleast its suposed to be a fail, then its a good excuse to fit braided lines as they're cheap enough

Yeah thats a fun job did that a wile ago, but from my point of view this is a regular on a slightly older b corsa. I did my mates corsa 2 and some others.
But that proper rott indeed. The fun part on mine was everything was real nice except those (both sides)
:)

My Corsa had an advisory that the reear suspension mounts were corrosing but not considered accessive, just wondering whats an easy way to prevent it getting worse can you just clean it abit then respray it

No way is your rust an M.O.T fail... But if you are worried about it, just sand it and spray it
And if you want after its passed replace it at a later date, works like a treat. Done this quite a few times
