C14SE issue's

Trying to get some help here on my 94 SRi with the C14SE engine. Sometimes my EML will come on when slowing down and recently when cruising between 2-3000rpm the car "kangaroo's"(with or without the EML on)

Did the paperclip test and I am getting codes 24 and 13

24 is VSS - No speed signal or low voltage
and 13 is Oxygen Sensor - no change in voltage/open circuit

I don't believe that the 94 corsa's had a VSS as they are cable driven speedo's and I wonder if the oxygen sensor would give any voltage when the engine is not running?

Can anyone offer any other advice??

Same problem on my 1.4 sport 1995 C14SE, it's a very basic engine managent system in fact the '95 Sport doesn't even have an EML but I have replaced every thing under the bonnet and it still does it. It's not there all the time, I can do a 15 mile run and it lurches like a pig and on the way back perfect. I'm currently thinking ECU contacts or ignition switch???

Well I have done a bit of sensor replacing my self, one at a time and so far I have narrowed it down to the ICV! The car no longer kangaroos now that it has been replaced!

the icv on the c14se and c16se are a poo for getting caked up in oil from the breather pipe and as for the lambda mines never had one in 4 branch never had a hole for it so i never put it back in, no eml light and no running problems.... bizarre

Cured my C14SE, after replacing EVERY sensor and module under the bonnet and getting no where, I just ramped the nuts of it, bouncing it off the rev limiter for a minute, all go so far a week on.

Changed the TPS again, and it didn't want to reset, so I switched the igintion on and off a few times and heard the ICV go zunk zink zunk a couple of times and it has been OK since, still got a new fuel pump in cupboard just in case though.

Finaly did what I should have done in the first place and bought the official WIS from Opel, well a copy of it and in the section covering this it says the lurching is down to the three pin plug from the throttle position sensor, (not the one IN the TPS) and the cure is to remove the plug and solder the three wires and insulate the joints, I just 'tweeked' the connecttor to make sure it was making a solid connection and there has been no problems since.
The EML coming on was voltage incorrect on the TPS, aparently you adjust teh little tick over screw at your peril! half a turn one way or the other and the TPS sees the wrong voltage at rest which throw the whole thing woobly.
