hmm, thats a good point, id never given it much thought
spose it just goes in series with the power cable, then on to the amp
so
battery-cap-amp
anyone?

power caps are good, not only do they stop power drain, they also give a crisper and punchier sound.
what you do is, the positive on the power cap goes in line with the power lead that goes from your battery to your amp.
then what you do then is to give the power cap its own earth. dont put the negative on the power cap on the earthing strap of the amp.

ah i see, sort of.
thanks for the input there si, im sure caps do make a difference, however ive just remembered i probs wont need one as i have a diesel alternator, and that gives out more amps than your standard jobby

ahh yes, it is how i thought, except it needs an earth, which makes sense now i think of it i spose
