hello, im new to the forum, just passed my test, bought a corsa B envoy (1.0 3 cylinder) nothing too special, anyways, ive upgraded the head-unit to a JVC and bought a pair of FLI speakers & adapters for the front doors ,anyhow do i need to remove the whole front door card or just the bottom quarter where the door pocket is ?

*EDIT*
ive done door speakers to friends/family cars with electric windows, but never with manual windows.
ive been browsing the net and cant find anything to point me in the right direction, whilst im waiting for the adapters to arrive in the post.

ALSO,if anyone could enlighten me on how to wire up speakers to the of the rear car...would i need to wire them into the head-unit,or take a supply from the front speakers?
any help would be appreciated

im okay with electrics, but electricity and bodge jobs DO-NOT go together,so i'd rather put the time in to get the job done proper.
thanks in advance.

just the bottom quater to change the speakers at the front and with the rears it all depends if you have standard speakers installed to start with if you dont you need to run cables from headunit otherwise just cut and extend the existing wire if your going down the 6x9 route.

If your pull the rear boot plastics out, about six torn screws if i remember from doing mine, you should be able to see if you have the wires included. On some models (dis regarding the lowest specs) they have the rear speaker wire taped up with the rest of the wiring loom. Rather than running a wire from the head unit you should see if the loom is lapped up, on the left side there should be a boot light loom also taped up. If you have the looms, all you need is to plug and play.

IF you don't, do what Mike suggested, if you have an aftermarket head unit pull it out and there should be two ports for each rear speaker, i you want it neat id whip the headlining out and run the cables through the dash, up the A pillars and along the roof, and down the C pillars. Makes it much neater and you can simply tape it up with the rest of the loom!
