Electric Sunroof problems HELP ASAP!!

Hi all, been on here for a few years now and finally starting to build up my car!

Anyway, i bought an electric sunroof motor, loom and switches etc off Ebay to fit to my corsa, that was advertised as cav/vectra/astra. Now i've managed to wire in the interior light correctly, there is a middle festoon bulb with two separate map lights either side with 2 switches to turn on either the drivers or passengers side light. However, i have no idea how to wire up the motor for the sunroof. I've looked at the tutorials but my motor isn't the same as the ones i see, the wiring is different.

Coming out of the motor i have 3 wires, a brown, a red and a blue. The red and the blue wires go into the switch, and the brown is left free. Coming out of the switch is another brown and a red wire.

From what i gathered, both of the brown wires need to be earthed. I screwed them both down into the metal of the roof, and then also connected them to one wire and earthed it which seemed like the better idea. The smaller red wire coming from the switch i connected to the live feed from the interior light. This is what i got from the tutorials and the motor just doesn't work. I don't know if somethings broken or i am doing it wrong, but any help asap is much appreciated.

The reason i bought this was because i broke the manual winder and my sunroof has been open for days now and the weather is awful! need this sorting soon! Thanks a lot, will post pictures if needed.

The topic here caught my attention. I know that my post here is too late and I do apologize for that. How was your electric sunroof doing today? We almost have the same problem. When I'm having a hard time to wire up my lights, I watch videos and and look for tutorials but sometimes they are not also the same to my motor. I often call a mechanic to help me with that. 8)
