Sounds like a nice plan

yea shocks and springs for 60mm or just springs for 40mm but depends how much your willing to spend, or coilovers of ebay for about £140 ish. and what colour you want to do your wheels?

so all in all it will cost me about £200 if i get 60 springs and shocks, then 40 springs and coilovers?
Erm, thinking on going black
my old wheel trims where black and liked the look so going black :p

noooo you have three choices,
1) 40mm springs with standard shocks or with stiffened shocks, either will do but if you want a budget just get 40mm springs. cost £50
2) 60mm springs AND stiffened shocks, you cant use standard shocks they're too soft for a 60mm drop. £70-120 depending on condition of second hand or brand new
3) coilovers on the front and springs and shocks on the rear, can buy these second hand for the front, then buy some 60mm springs and shocks separate for the rear, again £100 roughly... OR you can buy brand new coilover KIT of ebay that comes with new front coilovers and new rear shocks and springs this is about £140 for the kit.
thats about it really.. its all down to you. and as for paint if you want decent paint for spraying get on ebay and buy some simoniz acrylic black paint i used this on my wheels and other bits and bobs on my land rover and its amazing stuff, sprays on so well and doesnt run as bad as other paint can, comes in HUGE 500ml cans to, i used two cans for all four wheels, so three cans would be more than enough and a bit spare.

So i could just use this set up? I dont mean to be a nag but would you be kind enough to find the ones that will fit with my car? i know what im looking for as such but not specificaly :p
40mm springs - front
60mm springs + stiffened shocks - rear
Which paint did you use: Satin Matte, Matte, Acrylic Black Gloss?
Do i need any lacquer or primer and stuff to do my alloys?

the paint is all the same even if it says matt or gloss, as its the laquer that will give it the shine, and nah because its black its dark enough to not require primer, just give your wheels a good scrub down with some light sand paper and mask off the valve and the tyre itself,
and if you join corsa-sport website just to surf the clasifieds their does get alot of good deals on there, or give nathan on here with the orange corsa-b he did upgrade to coilovers, i dont know if he's still got his shocks, where are you from anyway? as i do have a set of 40mm springs all round you could have, or i have some standard front shocks with 40mm springs.

thats alright then! i will get some of that bought... so i will need about 3 cans so i can do my wheels and the trims? + 1 or 2 cans of laquer if i see fit
Yeah will do man!
well i live in scunthorpe, linclonshire way on...
I would only need the back ones as i would be dropping the front 60mm but if you could post them for me and i could pay you over paypal or something?
I will keep looking on ebay for some coilovers

ah right, and only 3 cans for the wheels dude, but if you wanted to spray your bumper bits black then buy more obviously, or find some proper anthracite grey
