Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know in an annual service what things need to be done?

Im planning to get all the parts needed and take it to a garage so they only charge labour, From what i can see when you pay for a service half of the stuff is "checking" rather than changing!

normally when servicing my 1.0L i change its oil and oil filter every 6 months, check the air filter, and just before winter empty and fill my coolant to make sure its got enough anti freeze in, also just check the brakes aren't too worn, check there enough brake fluid. think thats bout it not alot to check easy to do might as well hav a go ur self cuz labour is the most exspensive bit at the garage.

without knowing your milage and service history it would be hard to say exactly,
based on an 80k service you would need the following:
Air Filter
Pollon Filter
Fuel Filter
Spark Plugs
Engine oil and oil filter
its also reccomended to renew the brake hydralic fluid every 24months regardless of miles.
oh and since it wont be long till winter it would be worth while checking your coolant/antifreeze level.
