After a 6 hour drive i acquired a corsa sport after swapping it for my nova, it was fine the whole way home but the next day the oil light started flickering on and off( didint think much of it as i thought it would be the oil sensor playing up as its a common fault) but now i start up the car the oil light goes off after a few seconds, and about a mile down the road will start to flicker

when braking the light will be on constantly, but when accelerating the light will go off

starting to think that the oil pump is giving up

ive ordered a new oil pressure sensor to see if thats the problem but i doubt it,

what do you lot suggest ?

Have you checked you actualy have oil in there?

If it goes on and off with accelrating and braking it may be that the oil level is quite low and is just tripping the sensor
