Only had it a few days and already fell in love with her!

Just wondering if anyone/everyone would give me some advise on what/how I can mod mine!

I'm was a mechanic for 4years BUT havnt got a single clue about modding cars !

Also were is good to buy things from ? I'm tottally new to things like this so no info is to small!

As soon as I got her I debadged the tail gate and cleaned up!
And gave her a huge t-cut! She looks awesome! Haha

Thankyou!

theirs four holes in the corners just use standard single din radio pullers and it will pop straight out, and then remove the standard cage, and a new cage will be provided with your new radio, and should connect straight up to the universal radio plug behind the standard radio, and best place to buy stuff is either ebay, or classifieds on here, corsasport or migweb.

Also replace the speakers for better ones, you will need speaker adaptors, sounds alot better though compared to the crap speakers they have in. u could also de-rubberstrip the doors, use a toffee wheel to get the glue off, will improve looks, i also got de-badged grill as well.

well it's only a 1.2 so theres not much more power to be squeezed out easily, but anything that de restricts the fuel intake, air intake or exhaust gasses getting out will help
Air filter is modding 101
de-cat your exhaust and get a big bore backbox
Remap the ecu but not worth doing on a 1.2
Strip all the weight out like i did helps quite a bit.
Engine conversion to a 1.6 sport or above if you want to go for something with a bit more power (Just be sure to upgrade brakes and suspension)

well in most things you get wht you pay for, same for air filters
an air filter would allow more air to enter the cylinders anyway so its definitely needed
A remap would throw more fuel in but i'm not sure of any other way.

Get a de-cat exhaust system but keep your old one so you can pass the mot when the time comes.

well, when i put my air filter on i used the cold air feed that was left over from the original filter box and tiewrapped it to old it into position

Used self tapping screws too

and my first one was a cheap £20 ripspeed from halfrauds but i'm gonna get a proper k&n induction kit from ebay or an auto spared shop near me
