Hi , im new to these forums so youll have to bear with me , Right what it is my Corsa yesterday when coming back from work cut out on me , thought i stalled it but didnt so i turned it over , which took a long attempt and it started back up as pulled up at home could feel the car hunting like kangarooing . Ive been told it could be the crank sensor but i cant see that as i had new one put in about 3-4months ago . The car turns over but the engine looks like it jumping/hunting.
Does anyone know what this could be . Thanks

on these engine you can atcually see the idle control motors so get some one to start the engine whilst your looking at the icv and see if the motor atcually makes contact with the part of the throttle body.if this seems okay it could be the egr valve when mine needed cleaning it used to tick over at 2k and run rather lumpy.

Just had a look with someone who knows his stuff , we checked plugs ect and we found out it is most likely the coil pack as it sounded as it was back firing also one of the plugs when we turned it over was weaker than the other two . if the coil pack doesnt sort it ill give the egr valve a clean .Thanks for your reply anyway mate
