60's on standard shocks

Hey will my car fail mot with just 60mm lowering springs on the front and standard shocks? will i need to cable tie the spring in so it don't pop out and will that get it through the mot any help would be good cheers

You'll completely knacker the original shocks on 60mm springs, you should be replacing them with uprated shocks anyway. If a cable tie is all that's stopping the spring falling out then that's just plain dangerous and they should fail you for it.

cool better think about about changing it then :lol: how would i stand with 40's i know it would be best to change the shocks too but money won't allow it :(

yeah ive had 40mm on standard shocks its handles alot better but rather bouncy if i was you i would just save up till i could afford uprated shocks aswell it will be worth the wait.

cheers pal thats what i wanted to know some one who has done it!! i know what you should always do but some times you can't and have to make do with what you got
