Have a problem with my corsa b. 1.0 litre.

Mainly over 40 to 50 mph the engine is stuttering and if you are cruising along then put the foot down the speed dips down and then stutters more.
Also it feels like my throttle isnt really responding when im pulling away from traffic lights.

Anyone know what it could be?
Really need this fixed!

Mass air flow sensor?
Idle control valve?
if you've got a mate with a 1.0L corsa, try swapping parts to see if you can find out what it is

Or plug a reader in at a garage

Mine did exactly the same and i read up on it. Apparently the MAF is a common fault on these cars. I changed mine for one of Ebay which was off a scrapper and it cured the problem.
It only cost a tenner too. Result.
To check it, undo the pulg to the MAF and take it for a quick spin. It will illuminate the engine management light and will then use set values in the ecu for the fuelling.
If this makes it run Ok then the MAF will likely be your problem.
Don't run it for too long like this though as the extra fuelling isn't great for the CAT long term.
