U all know i have a fully smoothed and flushed front end, well guess wot i did last nite

Drove towards some roadworks, they were digging up the road, so dropped down into the part they were resurfacing and wheni reached the othersidethe car just grounded, and snapped a chunk of the bumper off.

Im very upset  seeing as the front end isnt that old, and the cars only be lowered 6 hours.

Im so gutted, the car looks a mess and im being really sensitive to people saying stuff about my car now. Take Tom_87s post in my \'slammed\' thread. I never react like that but im such a bad bood from it coz its gonna cost a lot of money to get sorted :(

well im going to the bodyshop on monday see what they can do for me

hopefully they can repair it with the bumper still on, and finely spray the damaged area. The lines of the bumper and the grooves may make this possible.

I hope so

stu once its done stick expanding foam on the inside of the bumper, it will make the bumper stronger and hold the shape better!

everyones saying about this expanding foam, but the guy spraying my car says its not the best thing to use in all cases, as it continues to expand, and can distort the bumper. apparantly layers of fibreglass and extra supports are a better way to go.

Get the council to pay for it! take some pics. You don\'t pay road tax for nothing!

did the council pay out? ive heard of people doing this but never known anyone thats actually done it (does that make sense :?)
there is no legal limit on how low you can lower your car, as long as it can be put on the MOT test ramp, and stuarts cars low, but i wouldnt have said excessively low :?
