Basically, I was driving down the road a two days ago and then the EML came on, but nothing happened. So I thought nothing of it and carried on like normal. The second time it came on, there were problems. The car had a sudden loss of power and I couldn't drive the car more than 20MPH. I rung the AA and they cam out and did a diagnostic on my car and it showed the o2 sensor (Lambda sensor) had gone and needed replacing.
The following morning I fitted and new sensor and the car run fine for about an hour and had the same exact problem with it. I've read around a bit on the forums and other people have been saying it's the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Just wanted to ask and make sure before I go ahead and spend another £40.
Any help is much appreciated.

Re: Need Help ASAP MAF and Lambda sensor
some MAFs can be cleaned with carb cleaner, might be worth a try before you spend the £40
