Hi Guys,
Dont know what to do with this one - I have a 2000 (X Reg) corsa b, 1.4 16v sport.
Had a new clutch fitted a few months back and about a month after the car started to judder when pulling away in first gear (even when i try and pull away in second gear, just doesn't do it as bad) I took it back to the garage who fitted the clutch and they said there is nothing wrong with it. This has now made me think is it an engine judder? Engine mounts...??
It doesn't do it at all when driving the car for the first time in a day until i've drove it round for a couple of hours. After that it then starts doing it all the time, worse when on a hill. It gets so bad that trying to pull away (especially with a lot of gas when i need to quickly pull out of a juntion) to the point the car hardly moves but just judders and the engine bangs around.
It even does it when i change to a lower gear to engine break, i can hear the engine banging.
Also recently I have noticed a weird wirling noise when i press the clutch in but stops when my foot is completely off the clutch. It also wirls when pulling away and when i put the clutch in to change gear.
Any ideas?
Any help is much appreciated as this car is doing my head in now!!
