depends what engine u got really? if its a small one there aint really much u can do. Best bet is 2 make sure its had a good service - new plugs, leads, filters, oil etc and use some redex. all that combined will bring the power up close to the original value for the car. induction kits actually reduce power on the smaller engines as all they do is suck in more hot air from the engine bay. ur best bet is 2 either combine one with a cold air feed or even better get a k&n panel filter and de-restrict the air box with it. i had a 1.2 16 valve and that did give a little boost in acceleration

i did have a guide bt ive misplaced it lol. basically u take the lid off the airbox (just a couple of clips - really simple) then u will see a couple of internal pipes that 'narrow' the airflow. simple rip these off and just leave the full-size pipe holes
. i used a drill 2 get the plastic rivet off bt brute force or a small screwdriver and a hammer wud work just as well. while ur there if u want more noise simple drill some holes in the box. use spade drill attachments (i used 1/4 and 1/2 inch) and it will give a nicer sound. dont worry if u mess up as the airbox is only a few quid from scrappy anyway

i personally don't think it's worth it.. all your doing is making noise but in the end not going any faster.. if you want more bhp you can't get around spending cash.
