Hey guys,

I want to buy a backbox for my 1.0 12v 99 plate corsa. Im probably going to buy one online as they seem to be a lot cheeper and i want to make sure i get the right size.

i was wondering what the size of the pipe is where i would be fitting the new backbox so i dont buy a backbox to big or small.

thanks for any help, its much appreciated :)

Just buy one that fits straight onto a corsa b, dont buy a universal one as they are more trouble than they are worth :)

I'm also looking for a back box for a 1.0 :)
I found this website http://www.aktivperformanceparts.co.uk/ ... 384871.htm
and this is probably where i'll order from?
There designed to fit onto the 1.0 so it should already be the right size :)
Let me know how you get on as i'll be buying one soon :D

mine wasnt that hard to fit if im honest. i took it to a friend who works in a local garage and they fitted it in an hour. it just needed a few pipes welded together to get it positioned right. and for £35 or so it's very good value! it sounds very awesome :-)

you're better of getting a pannel filter for a 1.0 and drilling your air box, as the 1.0's dont like it without the air box the air flow meter goes funny after a while

yeah i think im going to do that soon. the air flow meter was replaced when i got the car about 10 months ago and i dont fancy forking out for a new one again. my car used to get from 50 to 80 no problem but since ive put that on its much slower! only problem is, when i removed the old box the srew/plug broke on the inlet pipe at the front of the car (just above where the grill is fixed). i will probably have to find one of those before doing it all just so its as it should be :). would the panel filter and a drilled air box still imporove the noise like an air filter would?
