Corsa-B.uk - Vauxhall, Opel and Holden Corsa B Owners Club

Hi
I now know that the X10XE engine is not OBDII compatible so the software I bought is usless.
However I have been told that I can short out two pins (possibly on the six pin connector under the bonnet) and the warning light on the dashbord will flash to indicate the problem code.
Has anyone any experience of this ?
