Im fairly new to this forum but i thought it would be a good idea to do my own project log :-)

My parents bought it for me back in Feb this year for £850.

- 1999 1.0l 12v
- 67,000 Miles
- Came with 12 Months MOT and Tax
- New tires
- All original

I started doing small changes to it but i decided to spend more on the car, so i thought it would be a good time to show you guys what ive done. Im not sure if i will have the car for much longer mainly because its a little bit slow, ive had it for nearly a year and im almost certain i will get a Honda Civic 1.6 v-tec. I've been considering buying a bigger engine for it but im not 100% sure if it would be more hassle than its worth as i wouldnt be able to do it myself. I will be adding pictures tonight and more on the weekend (if it passes MOT, fingers crossed) as it needs a good clean and polish :-P

Exterior:

- De-badged Grill
- Smoked rear lights
- Smoked repeaters
- De-badged at rear
- Corsa C SXI 15inch Alloys
- Performance 3.5 Inch Backbox
- Induction Kit
- Beesting Aerial

Interior:

- USB, AUX, CD, Bluetooth headunit
- Red/Black Seat covers
- Red/Black Gearstick Gaitor
- FLI 12inch 1000 Watt Sub
- FLI 270 Watt 6x9's

After a good clean
Image

then i decided i should start spending money on the car so i got myself a De-Badged grill to start of with
Image

then i moved onto smoking the rear lights, i wanted them to be unique so i decided to leave the reverse light rather than spraying the whole lot
Image

Finished result, i apologise about how dirty the car is >.<
Image

Fitted a headunit, CD, USB, AUX and bluetooth all for £45 :P
Image

After giving it a clean and a polish, i think it was a well spent 2 hours (Y)
Image

I got myself some Corsa C SXI alloys from a friend for £50 will good tires
Image
Image

end result after another t-cut as she was going a bit pink
Image

got some FLI 6x9's 270 watt along with a FLI 12inch 1000 watt sub
Image

close-up of the wheels, im unsure whether its worth having them in black?...
Image
Image

Got myself a 3.5inch backbox for £35, had it all fitted and it sounds awesome! also de-badged the back
Image

gave the engine bay a good clean after i fitted a new filter

Take off the bumper strips down the sides
Spray alloys black
Gsi spoiler
Lower it either 40 or 60mm

That's where I would go from there :) Looking great though :)

How did you smoke your rear lights

spray them with light tinting paint. 2 coats is the legal amount so make sure you dont do them too dark. use a hair dryer so the paint doesnt run. put newspaper around the light like i have done in the picture so it doesnt go on your car. you can do the same for the repeators as well :) much cheaper than buying tinted lights

here is a link for the spray - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAVAGE-TAIL-L ... 19b33653ea

yeah its good if you want to make your car unique :) id advise you to get a bit of card to cover up the reverse part of the lights just so people can see them :)
