ive got a new leather gaitor as the original is looking terrible and also so i can start colour matching the inside. its a very very tight fit around the base and i noticed the original is stappled in place around the bottom. the lazy way would just stretch it over the top and stapple it on but im not sure if it would prevent the lift-reverse from working as it should as i would have 2 gaitors. does anyone know how to replace a gaitor on a corsa b properly? A
any help is appreciated

fairly simple then. what did you do about the lift reverse bit? ive seen a video for a VW golf and it looked similar, the guy turned it inside out and took the spring ect. out. is that how you did yours?

pull the top of the gear stick off then remove the lift up mec and old gaitor. then remove the staples out the plastic trim and pull the gaitor off the lift up mec then just do the reverse useing a cable tie
