I bought a 1.4i 16v out of a tigra to put into my car and i was wondering if i could turbo it?
I've had mixed opinions off people, some saying i cant and some saying its possible but costs loads, so i thought i'd see if anyone on here could help.
If anyone knows any way of doing it please let me know. Thanks

its not worth the hastle, and you'l never get a straight answer as theirs loads of pro's and con's about it. theirs easy ways of doing it by just bolting one on, but obviously it wont work for long due to the what would be unbelievably high compression ratio. but other than that it would be expencive as you'd need to get rods, decompression plate, pistons, intercooler, pipework, and most importantly stand alone engine management, then finally exhaust system. and for that price you could get a C20XE

but obviously that depends how deep your pockets are and how much you love your 1.4 16v power. but for the price and time you'd spend pissing about you could get a tuned up XE or a standard LET.

you thinking of turbo'ing your 1.4 16v aswell?

i agree with pricer by time you have bought pipe work turbo intercooler pistons ext and all the work you could just drop a c20let in and have more power
