hi i was thinking of puttin a sub in my parcel shelf has anybody done this? does it loose any base or anything or will it b better to put it in box?

Hmm i think this could be done, but not in a standard parcel shelf, and the bass would not be no-where near as punchy, see if you can put a box onto the back of the parcell shelf??? anythings possible mate.

you can but you would need the shelf to be ultra secure, i.e no flex for movement plus you would need a free air sub which ain\'t that expensive but personnaly think they don\'t sound as good as normal subs.

only thing i can think off its reinforace your parcel shelf, then by a vented sub enclosure n like glue or screw it too the back of the parcel shelf and drill a hole though the shelf and though the box and fit the speaker

dnt do it i did it built a new shelf out of mdf and put 2 12 in it but it sounds totally wank so dnt do it
