hello people been a few years since ive been on here, as i couldn't afford to carry on with the car, now ive got the money the project is about to start
so first let me say about my car,
1996 1.2L corsa b trip
apache mica (gold)
90k
brought it as standard

starting minor mods till i get paid

first off i removed the bumpstrips

then i cut the standard grill out (sorry about the fence, photos just for illustration)

i then made a plastic plate and filled the huge whole that was left after cutting the grill out
(PHOTOS TO BE UPLOADED TOMORROW)

to do list
-insert spotlights behind bumper where grill was
-mesh grill opening
-heat gun or spray bumpers back to black
-debadge
-de boot lock and smooth boot
-add some rims (non chavy, maybe euro style)

will add more^ when i think of stuff to do

any input would be much appreciated
what do you guys think of the colour?
and what do you think i should do to it?

Corsa b's in that colour and black are the best ones in my opinion mate

Yeah I was thinking of maybe getting some face lifts or a full Gsi bodykit and then colour coding them
Just finding it hard to find the colour I need to spray them :S

So too the front bumper off today as typical British weather has made into hard to do any adjustments outdoors, while its off I'm very tempted to do all the prep work ready to spray it when I get the spray!! (that's if I can find any of the damn colour to match!) photos up later of it without the bumper :L

Whey another one to the Apache crew. This is an amazing colour when polished right up. As for finding paint - you won't, I haven't yet. Just suffer and get some mixed up matey. I got decent plans for mine, I want a full GSI kit, but with an aftermarket rear bumper and some 15x8 BBS RS replicas, and some bike carbs

Yeah I gave it a bit of a shine when I first got her and she came up nice
Yeah going to have to get some mixed I've been quoted at £12 for 400ml cans of it which I think isn't a bad price
I want a Gsi kit but short off money at them momment so standard bumpers will do to start with

I haven't got a project log yet mate, i'm a little uncertain on the fate of it as my insurance is up on the 20th of this month and i've seen some other stuff I like, even though I still love my lil Vauxhall. If I keep it i've already got a 2.5" backbox, straight centre pipe, gonna decat it and drop in a 1.6 SPI if I can get one cheap. Desperately need a matching set of wheels again as I have 2 sets fitted at the moment In the future it would end up with a GSI front bumper, some skirts, a custom rear bumper I bought for it, then a full respray. Add a side exit exhaust, and 15x8 BBS replica's then have it on the floor and i'm a happy panda!

slam the car man best thing i done slammed on colies and bigger breaks only a 1.0l but handles well!
