last night there was a hit and run in the kirk hallam/ilkeston area. the lad that was hit is in hospital in a coma and on life support. the car that was involved was silver with tinted windows and a big exhaust and was last seen heading towards spondon. if anyone knows anything or has seen a car described with front end damage if they could post up here that would be great help.

they are not sure the witness saw a vauxhall badge but didnt see the rest which is understandable cause the police have told the family the lad was hit at about 70 mph
