idle revving by its self ?

hi there when i pull up to lights or to park or anything it just revvs its self but if i rev it slowly and take my foot of it stops, have you ant idea how i can stop this ?

probably the idle control valve, see the FAQ section

milage can be a factor, but the idle control valves are a bit of a bad design and can fail at any milage
