Judder/Hesistation only when cold.

Hi all.

Got a issue with my grandparents 1.2 ecotec engine "T Reg" automatic corsa. Every morning the revs are going mad till it warms up and it judders/hestitates when you put it into reverse or drive (only seems to be when driving first thing in the morning) Once it is moving it runs perfect. I have replaced the idle control valve which has sorted out the revving problem but it still judders when first moving off. It has recently been serviced with a new air, fuel, oil filters and plugs. It isn't misfiring.
The engine light came on to start off with but that was to do with the idle control valve but now it doesn't come up with a fault at all you can just feel it juddering where its trying to pull away then all of a sudden almost grabs and goes back to normal.
Any suggestions or common problems? I done a search but couldn't find anything

Thanks

Mine is a 1l corsa b breeze. It also judders, I think its where they are an older car and just needs to be pre-warmed before a journey. Give it some revs and it should be fine!

I have a W reg 1.2 16v and it does this when its hot or cold. It started by losing power and not picking up revs when trying to set off. It idles absolutely fine, the needle never even slightly flickers. It kangaroos and holds back, despite this it doesn't sound like its misfiring. Its almost like its running out of petrol, but its never even nearly stalled or dipped idle revs. Its going on a vaux tech2 computer in the morning but i'm not confident that any codes will show as i've never had the EML come on, not even when its been at its worst kangarooing, not responding to throttle and crawling along at 5mph! It also sometimes has a bit of a whiff of petrol inside, but it comes and goes within minutes. Also it doesnt seem to use very much petrol at all, I've done 97 miles on about £12 of juice. Any advice or a bit of a heads up about what it could be would be lovely.
