which belt snapped? the one you can see from the outside that powers the alternator? this wont do any damage at all as it doesnt power anything major, these 1L's have cam chains not belts, by the sounds of it all you'v snapped is the alternator / power steering / air conditioning belt (depends on what luxuries yours has) just get a new one from halfords or your local motor factor.

I have cleaned all egine took rocker cover off as cleaned in need of oil change up yh noticed was chain
luxury no air con so just a sunroof lol
ive noticed the belt tensioner the metal piece that runs through. the middle .correct me if im wrong but
it snapped in middle as ive notice one of the coils on the sprin moves n has hit belt therefor snapped it as ha pull the spring in even result of this snappin caused a sprin lower on belt n shread it the but ripped with a pair of pliers
this calls for new tensioner right???
Also i want the lil thing sound quick mean thinkin of a straight through pipe after the cat to a cheery bomb??? Cheapest was a decent system hundreds only give 50 squids for it tax n moted
