Remote Central Locking As Standard??

Post by Obie07 »

Hi, can you help?
I have an X reg Corsa GLS 1.2l 16v. The car came with just the 1, rather grotty looking, key that is currently held together with Sellotape and happy thoughts. The key doesn't seem to have any buttons on it, but as i say, it is covered in Sellotape. The key works perfectly fine and the 'Central Locking' on the car also works fine. However, how can i tell if my car has 'Remote Central Locking'????
(Im thinking perhaps the key I received with the car is in fact the spare (non-buttoned) key.)
*Does my car have 'Remote Central locking'??
*Did 'Remote Central Locking' come as standard on this year/model??
Thanks for any help

Fitted after market remote to my 1995 Sport in half an hour, just need to remove drivers kick panel to hook it up to the open and close (NEG) c/l wires. 12v and earth. Come with a three button key fob with flip out key (to be cut) or chop plastic off your key and make remaining metal part fit the flip (same shape as blank that comes with it.) as I did.

Fitted this to my combo. As said all connections can be done behind kick panel on drivers side. Except indicator flash under steering column
