drilled air box and k&n panel or forced induction with feed

ive got a corsa b 1.2 16v club and ive got a decat system waiting to go on it from a old corsa b i used to have does anyone no would it be better having a drilled box anf panel filter or forced induction with a feed to the front of the car ? i dnt really wnt a vtec sound either ?

help would be grand guys :)

doesnt really matter but on a 1.2 i'd say just drill the air box and get a panel filter.

I'd go for drilled + de-restricted airbox + get a duct pipe going from your grill to the inlet of the airbox, duct tape the surrounds or do a proper job by cutting the correct size hole in the airbox and and feeding it though making it tight.

And use the standard paper filter. Panel filters especially oil based ones mess up the MAF sensor as far as I know.

I agree with this as the sensor gets covered in the oil and causes running issues
