So i made a post that i sold my corsa, ive been talking to the boy i sold it too and hes thinkung about selling it cause he needs a work van, thing is hes also including a 1.6 8v on cbr 900 carbs and gearbox with it, if i had to but it all, would the engine go straight in or what would need done ? heard keeping the 1.2 box in itl make shorter gears, faster acceleration, if i kept the 1.2 box in what would i need for it ? if i put the 1.6 box in with it, what would i need to do for it to work ?

Its the f26 box with the 1.6

if im correct? then the 1.6 8v engine will bolt straight up to the 1.2 8v gearbox and use same engine mount as what you'v got, so its an easy conversion, then you'v just got to get it running.

Yea a was thinkin that but im not amazin with that kind of thing, what do you mean by getting it runnin would it not just fire up straight away ?
