Hi everyone, just joined this forum as my son is now the proud owner of a Corsa B 1.2 SXi (2000). He has no computer so it's up to me to try and sort out his little problem.
It has an issue with just cutting out on him. Sometimes it's every day and sometimes it'l be ok for about a week.
He'll go to get some petrol for example and then it just won't start. Eventually, after about 20-40 mins it'll just fire up as if nothing has happened. When it's turning over but not starting, there is NO smell of petrol. This leads me to the assumption that the crank sensor is furbared as i've done a search on here and found it out.
Can anyone enlighten me if i'm heading in the correct direction?
It's beginning to p*ss him off and he's already getting disillusioned with it.
Thanks guys.
