I recently bought a corsa gsi. I checked the engine code and i found Z16XE. Is it possible the block is from a Z16XE and the cylinder head is form a X16XE? How can I check the cylinder head is from X16XE or Z16XE?

Z16 is a corsa c engine the x16 head wouldnt fit I'm almost certain what year is it and are you sure its a genuine gsi

It is a 2000 5 door body. The engine looks like an x16xe

Its not gsi coz they only came in 3dr and stoped in 96 iirc where did you find the code

Hard to say tbh not fimilar with the Z engines but purely because i cant see a thortle cable im going to say its a z16 head possibley with x16 intake manifold
