Got a slight miss fire, I've been told that the missing might be one of the following:
egr valve
plugs
leads
coil pack
but its only doing it in low revs and it only happens now and again
Any ideas or help guys?.

i had the same thing and eventually the engine management light came on and it was a faulty EGR valve!
also mine had an erratic idle.
But to be honest mate i'm no mechanic so don't go buying an EGR valve just because i said! ^_^

Thanks for the input fella, my mrs neighbour is a mechanic, he looks after her civic so guna get him to look at it for me.
Was going to change the plugs and leads first, EGR valve is about £25 new so will make sure it's defo that first.

Its a thin piece of metal that blocks the egr valve and stops it from putting used gas into your engine
Just type egr valve blanking plate into ebay
What engine do you have

Yeah mate say's its running 130bhp I bought it from him and he's a genuine guy, good Friend of mine.
Will be getting it put on the Dyno at some point but not until I've put the ct back, 421 manifold and the induction on.

I'm not sure mate all I know is it has a VX inlet fitted, an a Cat Back Stainless Steel Exhaust and a 421 c20xe Manifold to go on.
As I said I'm not entirely sure what its running but im going to go up to GOT BOOST up Swansea an get it dynode.
But want to sort the miss fire out first, just don't know if its the EGR valve, plugs, leads it coil pack.
