Corsa Trip

Bought this off eBay a couple days ago. It's a 1.0L 12v, it's quite nippy, and probably has about the same power as a 4 cylinder 8v.

It's got a few rust marks which will be sorted out at some point, as well as some scuffs, a dent on the bonnet, and the word "TW4T" engraved into the bonnet.

It has no wheel trims, and it was faded about 50% on one side. So I got to work...

Let the buffing commence!

Now the car is mostly the same shade of red

Back bumper done, just look at the comparison

Wipers painted

All trims cleaned and buffed, and same colour

Few updates...

I've sprayed the steelies
Added Corsa C clear side repeaters
De-badged
Fitted dice dust caps
Fitted a muffler tip (Coz I can't afford a proper one)
Fitted fly-eyes rear light tints.

De-restricted the airbox the other day and it sounds amazing. Found a leak in my radiator so I'll have to wait until next pay day (2 weeks) until I can get another one sorted out.

I have the 1.0 3-pot eco-tec, I'm assuming the bleed procedure is simply just leaving the expansion tank cap off and running the engine for 10 minutes?

If anybody has a radiator for this model for sale, let me know. Also looking for a performance back-box.

Draining the radiator is the easy bit. Bleeding new coolant through the system is not, apparently lol.

Its.just a matter of filling it up slowly, doing it slow prevents air locks

Radiator done. Cost me 40 odd quid but I did the replacement and coolant change myself, so not too bad, coolant seems to be staying at one level and i took it for a quick blast to make sure. Made sure the oil was topped up too.

Ordered some parts, but I don't wanna spoil it, so you'll have to wait and see!

Me neither. They're called Fly Eyes Kit, it's like a mesh sticker that goes onto it. I'm considering getting some black clusters like I had on my Breeze a few years ago, they looked a lot nicer.
