K\'s mums R reg 1.2i Corsa B.

The \'engine\' light came on yesterday on a long journet and has been coming on intermittantly since then.

Does anyone have any ideas where we could start with trying to source the fault thats causing this light to come on?

when mine kept coming on i checked the wires on the alternator and one of em was loose

Theres a thread about fault finding in hint and tips mate

Engine management fault finding tho can be an expensive and costly process if you go thru Vauxhall.

Any more info on what the car is behaving like when the ecu light comes on
